Rita Tanos:  Extraordinary Lives!   by India Hicks  –    ’39 Years of Silence’

I am honored and deeply grateful to India Hicks for sharing my story with the world.

This is the fist time in four decades of my life that I have openly shared my story of loss, grief, and transformation.  While it is heartbreaking, it is also heartwarming.

“Rita is one unstoppable gal. Her courage, resilience, tenacity and imagination bowl me over. She proves just how strong and capable we all can be – even when faced with the most terrible misfortune.”

Post:

Extraordinary Lives: Rita Tanos

’39 Years of Silence’ is an important book about adoption, the right to life, and the right to know the Truth about oneself.  This book will serve to enlighten and educate people with regard to the complexities and implications of adoption.  It will also become a guide to law makers, attorneys, counselors, and students of the adoption process.  Most importantly, ’39 Years of Silence’ will serve to heal millions of Birthmothers and Adopted Children who have experienced this sort of loss, and shed light and truth to everyone touched by adoption.  And I believe it will change legislation in States like Florida that are still ‘closed’ States, where birth records remain sealed under lock and key, hidden away by an antiqued belief system that forbids children and mothers to know each other, or their medical history.

’39 Years of Silence’ is a book that reflects the lives of millions of silenced birthmother’s and their adopted children around the world during these dark ages of adoption.  Today in 2016, there are more than 6 million birthmothers and adopted children in the U.S. alone who remain silenced by the shame and secrecy of giving up their child to adoption.

As an unwed pregnant mother in 1969, I was coerced into silence and surrendering my child and placing her for adoption.  Ostracized by society’s moral compass, it was forbidden to keep your baby and raise them.  Motherhood was synonymous with marriage.  The moral code and social ethics of the day gave Birthmothers one of two choices:  either kill and abort your baby illegally, or give them up for adoption.  To this very day in 2016, State records remain sealed, hidden and locked away by shame, silence, and secrecy in an antiquated and dark belief system that prevents Birthmothers and their Adopted Children from connecting with each other.  Even health records are sealed in the State of Florida, where I gave birth to my daughter.  After many years of searching, I finally wrote a letter to then Governor Jeb Bush, asking him to open up the sealed files so my child and I could finally find each other.  He said no.  And his letter is in my book.

While laws have changed over the years in many States, these dark ages of adoption still hold these antiquated belief systems in place, where records remain sealed and locked away with deep scars, and silenced secrets for millions of children and mothers around the world.  Their voice is longing to be heard.

I was forced into hiding and thrown into the outcast role with my choiceless choice,  silenced by shame and secrecy.  I became the “nameless, faceless, voiceless mother” who was not allowed to keep my baby.  As a young Birthmother I was silenced by the most traumatic event in my life. . . giving birth to my beautiful baby and then being asked to surrender her at birth.  How does a mother separate from her own child?

It left a hole in my heart that pierced by very existence.  Like two atoms splitting in half, I was split in two, hiding from my own feelings so well that I could not find myself.  My unprocessed emotional pain and loss became hidden from my conscious awareness.  Even the grief of losing my own child was not allowed to be expressed, and she was alive, living somewhere else, without me.

Four decades of silence later, after finding my daughter and committing to a path of self-transformation, I finally gave way to the divinity of my powerlessness to change anything.  I entered into the mysterious domain of being transformed in desolation, though my darkest hours.  The healing balm of forgiveness and acceptance became the portal to deep transformation in the midst of my greatest struggle.  I learned to trust again.  I learned to love again.  I learned to live again, even after losing my child a second time.

Millions of Birthmother’s from the 1960’s to present day have suffered in silence, shame and secrecy, without ever uttering a single word about the depths of their heartbreak and sacrifice.  They’ve buried their story somewhere in the deepest, darkest night of secrets, feeling terribly alone, unworthy, and silenced by shame.  Their ‘secret’ became the event in their life that defined them, and it also silenced them.  I am one of these women.  But I am one of the lucky ones who found my child and had a three year relationship with her.  Through every obstacle I forged ahead.  I never gave up.  Something deep within me knew it was possible to find my child and have a relationship with her.  Thank God I did!

My transformation of consciousness arrived in the form of an epiphany while on spiritual retreat in Santa Barbara, just days before the third attempt to meet my daughter.  When her cancellation came, once again in the eleventh hour, instead of breakdown, it lead to breakthrough and an extraordinary peace that surpasses all understanding.   There are no words to describe this extraordinary peace and the power of Love, but I know for sure that my daughter felt it too.  A year before she passed through the veils she told me that she had never known or felt such unconditional love in her life until she found me.  Thank God she felt my love for her.  In her heart of hearts, she knew the power of this love.

’39 Years of Silence’ is a profound book that is ready to find a leading New York Publisher and Documentary Film Maker.  It is my living Legacy and I’m certain it has the power to heal millions of lives affected by adoption.

Even famous people like Oprah have been affected by adoption.  Her mother was silenced by shame afer giving up her child to adoption and only recently revealed the truth to Oprah.  She never knew she had a sister.

Louise Hay, the well known publishing giant of self-help books gave up her baby to adoption when she was a teenager.  So many women have had to bear this kind of loss and grief in utter secrecy.  Why?  The social stigma and the shame of giving up your own child to adoption, no matter what the circumstances, leave a deep inner scar inside the soul of every woman who has surrendered their baby.

It’s 2016!  It’s time to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.  There is work to be done and adoption reform has a long way to go.  There are still closed States where records remain sealed and hidden.  It’s the law. . . and these antiquated belief systems keep these records sealed.  Every child has the right to know the Truth about themselves, who their real mother and father is, and what their medical history records contain.  It may save their life one day.

’39 Years of Silence’ invites us to look deep inside our own hearts and inner knowing of the soul, as we walk this path of transformation to bring forth our own higher potential and our greatest contributions to the world…as women, as mothers, as daughters and sons, and as enlightened spiritual beings, living a human experience.  I invite Birthmother’s everywhere to stand tall and proud, and to find the courage within your own hearts to speak the Truth, in your own voice that has been hidden, silenced, and held hostage for far too many decades.  My personal mission is to heal and empower Birthmothers and Adopted Children globally to speak out and tell the Truth about their wounds, so they may transform their decades of silence, pain, and suffering into a new decade of liberation, joy, freedom and discovery of their highest self.

Celebrating the Beautiful Life of Adrianne Grayson

                        Adrianne Grayson

         October 8th 1935 – May 18th, 2014

Today is my Beloved Best Friends Memorial Celebration at Kerb’s Toy Boat House in Central Park, NYC.  In honor of Adrianne and the beautiful friendship we shared, Hari will read my Eulogy.  May 18th, 2015

“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.”
– Anais Nin

That’s how it was with us. . . Adrianne and I.  We were a world unto each other, and by the Grace of Divine Destiny, our paths crossed long ago and united us on a journey of the Soul. A long journey of friendship, love, deep connection and soul companionship that blended us together and joined us as One.

Almost 3 Decades have passed since the day we met. It was an instant connection of the heart.  I was at W Magazine in charge of the Western U. S., and Adrianne was in New York City. When she left Woman’s Wear Daily and became part of the W family, I said “Hello” and she recognized something in me that was also inside of herself. We both Meditated. We both went on Spiritual Retreats. We both studied with the same Teachers. We both practiced Yoga. And we both worked in a company that was worlds apart from our inner Spiritual Beings. But we also loved Beauty and Fashion, and knew how to bring out the best in every designer and in every situation.

It was a Blessing to have found each other in such an unusual setting such as W.  While it reflected our backgrounds in luxury and the world of fashion, it did not reflect what was going on inside of us and our consciousness. But there we were, with bills to pay, and apartments to buy, and new dreams to be had. So we journeyed on this path as long as we could bear it. . . until we could not bear it any more. After a decade at W, I left to start my own company and Adrianne was so delighted that I had found my courage to move on.

As I reached new pinnacles of success with my new company, Adrianne was always there, cheering me on. My professional life and company took off, but my personal life was suffering. I experienced so many deaths within my close circle of family and friends in such a short time. What broke my heart open the most was losing my own Daughter recently. Adrianne was there once again with open arms and her exquisite heart. She held me like a loving child that needed care and Love. She understood the depths of my loss that I could not put into words. She cooked scrambled eggs with tomatoes and served them to me in the morning. She placed a pillow under my head at night. She loved me. She cared for me as only a close friend can. And she wore silk pajamas as she did all of this! Adrianne understood the depths of my pain as she comforted me with her endless Love. This is a True Friend who understood me better than my own family.

She knew me from the inside out. All the bare, dark corners that lay hidden inside me, from the rest of the world. She understood my emptiness. She felt it too. But somehow, in this cocoon of her Love and Friendship, and inside of her home, I felt safe and protected from the world outside.

While I know the Soul is eternal, I was lost inside my grief. Adrianne called every day. We talked long hours about death, and about how precious life is. I will always remember her words and the sound of her voice. For the last 2 years of Adrianne’s life she spoke often about how precious every moment is and how fast and fleeting life is. We both read Stephen Levine’s book: “A Year To Live”. As I look back at this time, I believe Adrianne was already preparing herself for her own journey home.

My beautiful friend Adrianne….You were a world unto me that filled me up with delight and surprise, and created new dimensions of space inside my mind and heart, soul and spirit. You were an architect of my soul’s evolution as we shared, uncovered, built and re-built the stories of our past, present and future. We dreamed. We imagined. We laughed. We cried. We howled. We thought. We prayed. We meditated. We wept. We walked. We talked. We constructed and de-constructed a million pounds of weight that no longer belonged to either of us, in both of our worlds. We excavated. We created demolition zones where they needed to be. And we built fortresses and safe camps when we needed them, and then softly let them go when we did not.

This was the gift we shared. The unconditional Love and Acceptance of each other, in all ways, always. No judgement. No attitude. No opinion. No structure. No walls. No expectations. No false belief systems. Just clear, honest, open space to be truly and authentically who we were with each other. This is the deep embrace of our Friendship. This loving space was always open and available, inviting us inward. It was the world we shared inside of our beautiful Friendship with each other, where new worlds were possible and often created.

My Beloved Friend and Soul Sister, Adrianne, you are living inside my Heart. Thank you for Loving me the way you did. Your Light shines on always and forever. I will miss your Heart, but I will always carry it with me. I Love You! Rita

Each Friend Represents a World in Us. . .

Honey Moons & Friendship

Honey Moon – June 12/13, 2014

The Honey Moon

The Honey Moon

“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.”

         – Anais Nin

That’s how it was with us. . . We were a world unto each other and by the Grace of Divine Destiny, our paths crossed long ago and united us on a journey of the Soul. A long journey of friendship, love, deep connection and soul companionship that blended us together and joined us as One. How is it that my heart can break like this. . . over and over again?  So many deaths in my life, all in such a short time.

I don’t think I can bear it anymore, not even for another second.  My heart is split wide open, with too much pain and grief.  I feel this loss deeply and profoundly.  Have you ever lost a Beloved Best Friend that was closer to you than your own family?  Who knew you from the inside out?  Bare, dark corners and all that lay hidden inside, from the rest of the world.  There is an emptiness inside of me, like a part of my heart has been cut wide open and taken out of me.  I feel completely empty and alone.

While I know that the Soul is eternal, I am in the thickness of this empty forest right now, stuck inside this thorn bush, feeling the heat and slice of this sharp edge.  It cuts me to the core.  My heart bleeds.  Throbs.  Cries.  Rivers of tears flow, and I allow them.  This is grief.  This is loss.  This is the painful knowing that this beautiful and magnificent soul and friend I once could embrace and talk with for hours, sharing and bearing the deepest parts of my soul, is gone.  She was a world unto me that filled me up with delight and surprise, and created new dimensions of space inside my mind and heart, soul and spirit.  She was an architect of my soul’s evolution as we shared, uncovered, built and re-built the stories of the past, present and future.  We dreamed.  We imagined.  We laughed.  We cried.  We howled.  We thought.  We prayed.  We meditated.  We wept.  We walked.  We talked.  We constructed and de-constructed a million pounds of weight that no longer belonged to either of us, in both of our worlds.  We excavated.  We created demolition zones where they needed to be.  We built fortresses and safe camps when we needed them, and then we softly let them go when we did not.

This is the gift we shared.  The unconditional Love and Acceptance of each other, in all ways, always.  No judgement.  No attitude.  No opinion.  No structure.  No walls.  No expectations.  No belief systems.  Just clear, open space to be truly and authentically who we were and how we are, with each other.  This was the deep embrace of our Friendship.  This loving space was always there, forever Present, and always inviting us to go inside of it.  It was the world we shared inside of our Friendship with each other, where new worlds were possible and often created.

Driving home tonight, I saw the brilliant Orange Sun behind me, like an orb of Golden, Orange Light. . . bigger than the biggest Sunset I have ever seen setting in the West.  In front of me was the Honey Moon, lingering so low and so close to my face, I felt I could reach out and touch it.  To my East were the beautiful dark mountains and shadows, and to my West was the Pacific Ocean, nearing the end of it’s Sunset.  Just before I left on this drive and journey home, a young Asian woman came up to me and embraced me like an old, sweet friend.  We had met once before and she noticed my sorrow.  I shared your photograph with her and told her of your recent passing.  She said, “She’s here with you right now. . . I can feel her” as tears streamed down her face.  I knew it was you, my sweet friend, in this moment, coming here to embrace me this night, in this human form of this charming young woman who knew I needed a hug from you.

Nelson Mandela – One Extraordinary Man, One Great Legacy of World Peace

Nelson Mandela - One Extraordinary Man, One Great Legacy of Peace

Nelson Mandela – One Extraordinary Man,  One Great Legacy of World Peace.

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”  ~  Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela – One Man, One Heart, One World….A Man of Extraordinary Courage, Wisdom and Charisma who changed the world, one person at a time, one breathe at at time, one day at a time, with every human being he came in contact with.  His wisdom of practicing peace in the midst of turmoil and forgiveness in the center of unforgivable acts of cruelty were his trademarks of an extraordinary man who understood what it meant to have extraordinary courage.  His insistence on forgiveness over vengeance made him a powerful symbol of Peace as he challenged, stood up for, fought for, and struggled to end his country’s brutally codified system of racial domination.

Imagine serving 27 years in prison, breaking hard bricks in the hot African sun and high temperatures, simply because you were convicted of treason by the ‘white’ minority government, only to forge ahead with a peaceful end to white rule by negotiating with your captors, and then to become President of your Country. Peaceful resolution that transcended decades of racial division. Not an easy negotiation in the depths of conflict and fear.

Nelson Mandela’s tireless struggle for the freedom of his people earned him the respect of the world. His North Star was never far off from his prison gates that held him captive for so many years.  None of us can imagine what those 27 years were like for Nelson Mandela to be without his freedom, let alone doing hard labor and breaking bricks in the hot noonday sun.  The beauty and the grace of this one man’s spirit was stronger than those prison walls and the bars that held him captive….He miraculously negotiated with his captors with his deep humility,  compassion, and a profound understanding of  humanity, which earned him their Love and their respect.

From a prison release in 1990 to a resounding electoral victory as the first black President in 1994, and the first fully democratic election in Africa’s history, Nelson Mandela made history happen simply by being who he was. Significant. Elegant. Humble. Compassionate.  Wise. Intelligent. Caring. Humble. Loving. Honorable. Kind. Educated. Peaceful. Patient. Powerful.  But more than any of these exceptional qualities, Nelson Mandela had a Vision to end apartheid and free his people from racial oppression. That vision that he held so close to his own heart and his absolute belief that it was possible in his lifetime, was stronger and more powerful than any detention behind bars and peoples closed minds and hearts.

He was Africa’s greatest son whose vision changed the world, one person at a time, one moment at a time, one day at a time. Nelson Mandela’s North Star of Freedom was his Guiding Light, and with great respect and dignity, he delivered that freedom in his lifetime to his people.  From Statesmen to children, every black African gained their freedom as Nelson Mandela walked towards the light, after  27 years of captivity and a Vision that he held so close to his own heart, it had no where else to go but out into the Universe to deliver its gifts of freedom to everyone.  The world will not see a man like this again.

Godspeed Nelson Mandela.  Millions of people will forever honor you with their full Hearts of Gratitude for being such a Beautiful, humble servant.  Your vision made it possible. One Man. One Heart. One World. One moment at at time.  How extraordinary that you, Mr. Mandela, served as the first black leader and President of your Nation in the same lifetime as our leader and black President Barak Obama, and both of you have won the Nobel Peace Prize.  Martin Luther King and all of us on the Planet are crying tears of Gratitude for you today, our Beloved Brother.

All You Need is LOVE. . .

All You Need Is Love.

All You Need Is Love – and then some…!

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE . . .

and then some!

     – Rita Tanos

Yes!   It is always about LOVE.

It’s the absolute sweetest feeling in the Universe that all of us are striving towards in one way or another.  We happen to ‘bump’ into each other all the time, and in many different ways. . .sometimes stumbling while still on our feet.  Some of us are barefoot, and some of us are in fine leathered shoes or boots, while some of us are sprinting on old rubber souls, like tires worn thin after running their course on a thousand mile stretch for the last time.

What are are all running towards. . . or running away from?  If we are running towards something, what is it that we are running to?  What is it that makes our heart sing with delight and our bodies move in forward motion, towards that action or achievement?  What is it that lights our heart on fire with desire and imagination?  What is the longing in our soul that directs our heart’s activity in ways that deliver us to our Divine Destiny?  Or not?  Are we moving forward or are we moving away?  Are we wearing rubber soles, leather soles, or are we barefoot in the sand?  Where are we?  Who are we?  Where are we going?  A hundred million grains of sand can feel divine between our toes, but are we paying attention? Do we feel it?  And do we honor where we are on the path?

Where is our consciousness right now?  What are we savoring?  What has meaning and purpose, not only for ourselves, but for others and all sentient beings?  Where is our mark of Excellence and our Human Divinity?  Do we even have ‘human divinity’ as we continue to slaughter and destroy so many animals and sentient beings every day?   Can we, as a people release our own ego and our own personal goals, that we believe serve a higher purpose than ourselves, and for just a moment…or two,…or three, let go of that too?  Can we see what is in front of us – right now – right this very moment, without a personal agenda?

Can we be CLEAR and HONEST and FORTHRIGHT about our heart’s longing and our soul’s desire?  What is it we are called to do or be in this very moment without our own ego and agenda?  How can we get out of our own way?

Can we all just BREATHE into this very present moment of LIFE,  without our own private or personal agenda?  Everyone seems to want something; …a new car, a new home, a new identity, a new business, a new book, a new client, a new friend, a new deal, a new job, a new wardrobe, a new boyfriend, a new lover, a new soul mate, a new connection, and a new this or  a new that.

Whatever that latest ‘new’ thing is that our ego keeps calling us towards, again and again…What is that?  Where are we placing our thoughts and how are we energetically feeling?  Is there Joy?  Is there Love?  Is there Beauty?  Is there genuine and authentic connection?  Is your heart feeling something way bigger than you?

Sometimes we hold the belief that whatever it is we are currently focused on is the most important thing in our universe…in our own little lives.  Sometimes we think and actually believe it is for the ‘advancement’ of all mankind, and that too is our beloved ego embracing us, one more time around the loop.  We  think  ‘it’s ‘our idea’ about how to raise consciousness now.  Perhaps it’s a worthy cause, but even then,  it has a large ego attached to its core.  Somehow, somewhere, there is still a ‘personal identity’ attached to all those ideas and names of  our selves and others.  We want to link.  We want to connect.  We want to co-create.  We want to know there is a Presence, and that we are not alone.  Somehow, they often become ‘Country Club’ Associations …with ‘certain people’s names attached’.

What if we all took a very long, deep breathe and leaned into this very moment, . . . very alert and fully alive with present moment awareness.  What if we could ‘feel’ this unique ‘pulse’ of our Universe at this particular moment in time and actually hear it?  What if we could  ‘feel’ the pulse of life that is CRYING OUT for HELP…. RIGHT NOW!

Each and every one of us on the planet is striving towards something and someone…in every moment of every day that is far greater than our selves. We long to feel the closeness of our hearts and our souls connected. We all long to feel at ONE, with one another.  It is our Soul’s longing for completion on the human plane.

What if we could really hear right now, in this very moment, the profound cries of the Animals, begging us to stop their suffering and their slaughter, and the horrific abuse towards them?   What if…?  Can you hear their cries if you take a moment to think about these precious, voiceless, defenseless animals?  They are all sentient beings, just like you and I, with the same feelings that we feel, only in a different body shape / form and experience than you know yourself to be.

Why are we killing and abusing millions of animals EVERY  DAY,  who are innocent, voiceless, precious and unique creatures of LIFE? They  have committed no crime!  They are all sentient beings with feelings and families, just like you and I.

WHY?  WHY ARE WE DOING THIS AND HOW CAN WE STOP THIS INSANITY NOW?

Animal Abuse is a Crime!  Killing is a Crime!  Stop this Suffering and Abuse NOW….TODAY!

What do we really need to do to become aware of and to listen and hear the silent cries of Children in every Country, begging us to stop the violence in their homes, in their schools, in their neighborhoods and in our world?   What if we could really hear and ‘listen’ to this beautiful Planet Earth telling us her secrets…including the most urgent ones of crime that humanity has bestowed upon it, and  we actually do something about it?  What if all sentient beings spoke to us today, right now, and shared their cry for help?  Can you listen long enough to hear them?

They are SPEAKING TO US RIGHT NOW. . . ARE WE LISTENING?  ARE WE TAKING ACTION?  ARE WE MAKING A DIFFERENCE TODAY IN THE LIVES  OF ANY SENTIENT BEING?…whether they are human or animal?

Are we listening?  Are we caring enough to take action?  Where are you?  What are you doing?  How can you help?  Ask yourself these questions.  It is time.  Humans are killing the planet and all the precious wildlife.  Our four footed and winged friends, as well as all creatures deserve to be free. They all have a Holy place in the Universe.  It’s a God appointment with Life.  And human’s keep trying to destroy them, each and every day.  STOP !

If we could really ‘tune in’ to these beautiful creatures of land and sea, earth and sky, right now . . . in this very moment,  what do you think they are telling us?  And what do they want the Human Species to know and act upon urgently?   What is the sound and vibration of the Earth telling us right now?  What do we hear?  What do we ‘listen’ to?  Are we silent enough to hear it?  Are we quiet enough to listen?  Are we courageous enough to act?

It’s all here…right now.  All it takes is a very quiet and still mind to listen, and to ‘hear’.  These are the sounds of the earth calling out to each of us, in our own LIFE…right now.

It is not about what we thought it was about….It is not about out next plan of action or inaction toward our ego self (and what we thought would serve others via our own unique ‘brand’ – as they keep teaching humans today…. It is not about that).    It is about becoming still enough and quiet enough to LISTEN to the sound of what is CRYING OUT FOR YOUR ATTENTION.  IT IS ALL AROUND YOU BUT YOU DON’T EVEN HEAR IT OR FEEL IT.  THE ANIMALS ON THIS PLANET and THE EARTH & SKY NEED YOU NOW.  WILL YOU ACT WITH KINDNESS and COMPASSION?  WILL YOU CARE ENOUGH TO TAKE ACTION?

Your ‘connection’  and your call to action is all about the tenderness of your own heart with another heart, and with all sentient beings. . . genuinely and authentically, with your dominant intent to feel good about the work you are doing.  Your guiding Light is always in vibrational Harmony with the Energy that is Source.  It is always about LOVE.  It is always about listening more deeply and ‘hearing’ what your soul is being called to do.  Let go of your ‘success’ models and modes and beliefs..they have no place here.  Not now. . .not anymore. There is an urgency at this tipping point as the earth aches for healing, love and respect for all life.

The world needs you to WAKE UP and become FULLY AWARE and CONSCIOUS of the needs of the people, and especially the animals, and the planet, right NOW.  Why and how is it that ‘we the people’ are cooking Dog’s and torturing them alive?  How is it that we can turn our backs on this and pretend it is all OK, when we know in our hearts and minds that it is not.  What does it take to stop this suffering and abuse for all animals, for all humans?  What can you do to make a difference now, today?

All you need is LOVE to get you there. . . and a little something more. Courage. Compassion. And the heartfelt desire and clear intention to ‘be’ the difference in the world that needs you NOW, ….right now, this very moment. It begins by taking conscious action.

Stop everything else.  Stop the suffering today.  Only ‘YOU’ can make a difference. . . if you choose to.  This is not about the small ‘i’, but the big ‘ I ‘ in the Universe. It begins with YOU. One person at a time…one step at a time.

We can all make a difference in the life of a human….in the life of an animal…and in the life of the planet!  Be graceful and easy about your own beautiful self.  You are exactly where you are in this moment to show up and be a huge Blessing to so many sentient beings. Shine your light….let go of your fear and worries.  Be the gorgeous, exquisite human you came here to be! And please help to stop the suffering now!  Take action. Be the change you want to see in the world. Start Today!

Savor the moment. Feel the Presence.  And be more deliberate and specific about the plans you are making and in all that you do.  Ask your Self:  ‘What is your unique talent and gifts that you can give back to the world right now?   Your desire for feeling good is your guiding light, but let it not be about you or your ego.  May  it be a spark of the Divine within you, wanting so uniquely to be expressed….and has no other choice but to manifest into the energy of Love and Beauty!  May it always and in all ways be a Blessing to all humanity and all sentient beings everywhere.

As you walk forward, with whatever shoes you wear, know that I too am walking forward, each and every day….Most often I am barefoot, finding my way between the sift of desert sands and the rich country hills of  endless grapes that keep appearing in the midst of the desert.  One can call it a mirage…it depends on the angel and flow of your thoughts. . . awareness comes in many different ways and in endless directions… some have even put it on a ‘map of consciousness’.  I believe the only map to follow is in one’s Heart.  That is the Center of all of Life.  It gives back without a Spiritual ego as the human ego dissolves.  It is a force for Good for everyone, everywhere.  It is where everything flows in, from, with and to…It is the endless and eternal map of Love and Oneness….a Love that is so much larger than you and encompasses all that is.  This is the map of Legacy….Love!
